The above picture was taken yesterday when Nancy Sit took Gallen Lo, Anita Yuen and Joe Ma with her to go visit the flower market. The “Root of Evil” (previously “Grand Entrepreneur”) cast had just finished filming some outdoor scenes where Joe was courting Anita.
On an earlier report, Sharon Chan shared some more details on her character, whom she described as a “substitution”. Her character would fall in love and sacrifice a lot for Gallen’s character who only chooses her due to the fact that his love toward someone else is forbidden. [Source]
Lang Yan to be Broadcasted on Five Channels

“Lang Yan” (Wolf Smoke, Wolf Scent, lit., or Smoke Signal) will finally come to a small screen near you. The military-themed series, starring Flora Chan and Gallen Lo among others, has finished its filming nearly two years ago.
The long-awaited debut has been set for Feb 2nd, 2009, according to screenwriter Wang Wei. The audience will be able to catch “Lang Yan” simultaneously on at least five television channels, including Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, and Jiangxi.

Miss Chinese International Pageant (MCIP) 2009 crowned Christine Koo (Toronto) today Jan 17th in Fushan, China. Gallen Lo and Sharon Chan Play Lovers

The night before last (1/5/2009), Gallen and Sharon were seen filming in Central for “Grand Entrepreneur” in which they played a pair of lovers. About working with Gallen, Sharon said “Very happy! But I’m not “electrified” yet”. She then hastened to add “Of course we focus on the work!”
Gallen said filming for “Grand” will continue in Hong Kong until March, followed by filming at other locations. He will be working through Lunar New Year and prefers performing on stage. “My manager is currently negotiating a few shows. I’d like to go to Atlantic City first. Shows are great since you can combine leisure travel and work.”
Sharon smiled and said that “lucky envelope” is an important thing comes Lunar New Year to her. “It’s difficult to have a few days when you can relax and maybe enjoy good foods. Gaining weight won’t be a concern (since) it’s more important to celebrate (the spirit of) LNY.”
