The tentative title for TVB upcoming 40-episode grand production is now changed to 金钱诱罪 (The Crime-Inducing Effect of Money, lit.). Filming is to begin mid November.
Gallen Lo Ka Leung was seen at TVB City earlier, working on the drama’s sale presentation clip. While Gallen was absolutely tight-lipped about his character, producer Chong Wai Kin excitedly talked about the cast and how they had successfully convinced veterans such as Ray Lui Leung Wai and Jamie Chik Mei Chun to “descend the mountain”. He was also quite excited about a rape scene that involves Gallen Lo and Anita Yuen. The two stars did not oppose the idea. “It may sound a little too daring,” said Chong, “but it will certainly be kept within television limit.”
“Leng Leng” Anita Yuen earlier in “Love Exchange” exchanged not even a kiss with “boyfriend” Miu Kiu Wai. For her to now willing to sacrifice all the way, the charm of the newly divorced man must be quite irresistible. Being phone interviewed by reporter yesterday (Oct 5th), husband Julian Cheung Chi Lam said about his wife filming a rape scene as “very exciting!” “For this kind of drama, if you don’t stir things up, it will not be attractive!”
Gallen said he won’t be worried about the scene affecting his image. He believes the scene will be arranged reasonably. Smilingly, Gallen added that “(Since) Leng Leng is willing, I’ll be very much looking forward to it! The script is one thing, but I suppose it isn’t just simply a rape scene, but human nature which exhibits true color in time of conflict.”

it’ll be my first time since i only seen his big brother series >> which i love him in ..his jerk personality at beginning of ATE was good too!!

Tim’s “jerk personality” is nothing compared to the evilness of his other villainous characters, I must say.
Let’s see what we have so far. Ray plays the protagonist, Gallen plays his evil younger brother. He may not love Anita’s character until much later. He will use Kenix’s character to get to his brother. He will be the one everyone loves while Ray will be framed for all his evil deeds. Lols, this sounds like the resurrection of Tsui Ka Lup. I hope the scriptwriter(s) will have some fresher ideas.

Wow, a rape scene with Anita Yuen! So I was right to expect a series similar to Cold Blood Warm Heart? Good old Magic 8-Ball works fine.
By the way, I keep thinking Raymond Lam is the “Ray” you two are referring to.
It’s just been such a long time since I’ve seen Ray Lui on-screen, but the person I’m most excited to see make a comeback is Jamie Chik.

I think we can find some trace of Tsui Ka Lap and Yip Wing Tim in this character.

I can’t wait to see Jamie again. I remember loving her eyes when she cried. How I wish Gallen and Jamie to have a few scenes together…

Seriously, Mimosa? It was TkN who predicted/hoped that Sunny would get a role in the series. She is good.
The last time I saw Jamie on-screen was in Police Cadet ‘85. I would love to see Idy, Maggie, and Jamie working together. It’s unlikely that we’ll see Kitty Lai again.

I’m not so surprised to see Toby Leung’s name on the cast list. As for Joe, latest rumor has it that he’ll form a triangle with Gallen and Anita. It’s funny because I tend to associate Joe with a villainous role, but since Gallen takes up the juicy spot in here already, Joe must be one of the good guys.

Ray Lui, Gallen Lo, and Sunny Chan will play brothers. So far we know that Gallen will play a villain and he and Ray are not getting along.
Krystal Tin, Kenix Kwok, Vincent Wong are siblings and children of Nancy Sit.
Ray, Gallen, & Sunny will be cousins of Krystal, Kenix, and Vincent.
Love Life:
Jamie Chik is Ray’s legitimate wife and Kenix plays his first love and soulmate. Jamie and Kenix are not getting along.
Anita Yuen is Gallen’s wife and best friend of Krystal.
Krystal plays Sunny’s girlfriend.
is this true too?? i dont mind sunny & krystal to list… and it seems pretty intense relationships here…

Honestly, as of now I can only be sure about Ray Lui - Kenix - Jamie love triangle because all three artists have confirmed it in separate interviews. Oh, that and Gallen-Ray “sibling” tie. Ray confirmed it today as well.
This puzzle game of trying to put all the news bits and pieces together is fun huh

Wah, I miss a few messages and you guys are talking about a TVB movie filmed in space. I’m imagining Gallen in a space suit.
To be honest, this should have been his comeback series. An actor of his caliber deserved something better than WADLAC. As much as I love dogs and other pets in general, and messages promoting the ethical treatment of animals, I could not stand hearing those cheesy voices and conversations. Myolie’s character and performance did not help at times either. But perhaps all those things make us crave for his upcoming series even more!
