Do you know…
…that the adorable Can Can was portrayed by not just one, but two feline artists? And while Can Can in the show is a girl, the two cats who played her are both male. They do not have the same exact physiques, with one being skinnier than the other. The skinny Can Can can be seen in action scenes, whereas the chubbier one spends most of the time in Gallen’s embraces. Both Can Can have been adopted.
…that Siu Ba, a boy in the show, is actually a female dog? “WADLAC” is not her debut and certainly not the last. She’s made her first TV appearance in “Men Don’t Cry”, and will continue pursuing her acting career with TVB.
…that one of Myolie’s nine cats made guest appearance in the show? And yes, she has nine cats at home!
…that Bailey, Bernice’s toy poodle both on and off screen, has been certified as a “doctor dog” for her calm and friendly personality?
…that Margie is really afraid of large dogs? She wasn’t just acting in WADLAC when her character, Tina, faced off with Lyhome, the German Shepherd.
…that Gallen was offered the two Can Cans and Siu Ba to make them his own pets? However considering his working schedule where most of his time is being spent away from home, Gallen was forced to decline the offer.
WADLAC said…
…that cat’s hearing is 8 times better than human. Approximately, yes, considering cats can hear sound in the range of 45-64,000 Hz compared to 64-23,000 Hz in human. Whether loud noise would contribute to weight loss or even psychological problem in pet cats remains to be… researched!
…that dogs have the brain power of that in a 2-year-old child, hence “trainable”
…”Why is the sky no longer blue, the grass no longer green?” Well, Siu Ba, maybe because you are a dog, and green should really appear gray in your vision? No?
And our favorite quote of the day, from Can Can, sums it all up about owning a pet cat: “He’s not my master! I am his master!”

Since you insisted on having my notorious editing services…
“will continues”
But, I’d like to think it’s another perk of being a hostee.
haha.
A very interesting article, Mimosa!

The list of benefits goes on
I’m at episode 6. The storyline is simple and coherent, but there have been at least two favorite scenes flavored with Gallen’s signature which made my heart flutter…
It’s nice to have such sensation back

Chi! I cannot believe the dream I had last night. Of all things I could have dreamt of… it was my going ecstatic that WADLAC’s ratings broke the 30’s. Seriously!?! And I *never* before dreamt of anything remotely TVB-related to begin with!
Anyhow, I saw part of episode one. It’s refreshing to see Gallen so… irritable.

Now you make me really, really interested in this week’s rating

OMG!!!! Chi!! The dream I had… it’s true. WADLAC got 31 in ratings!
Oh God, I now should consider consulting my dream to buy lottery tickets.

And when it comes time to give my acceptance speech for the Nobel Prize, I will profusely thank Mimosa for having urged me to sleep more so as to have productive dreams.

Very interesting post! Didn’t know a lot of these facts! How did you find them all out? haha
And this is hilarious —>”…”Why is the sky no longer blue, the grass no longer green?” Well, Siu Ba, maybe because you are a dog, and green should really appear gray in your vision? No?”
I didn’t even realise when I watched that part, but I did find it wrong when they show Gallen from the dog’s point of view and he has colour ^^;
Thanks for sharing!

Nhi, you don’t have to thank Mimosa then. She only hopes you’d think about her, or better yet, find a way “channel” your power to her. She does dream a lot!
Kerry, hi there. What a surprise!
Thanks for stopping by. I’m glad you found this post entertaining. All the tidbits are from the news, actually, except for the “WADLAC said…” part which came directly from the series.

Ahh… this is the origin for “If you can dream it, you can do it!”
Or in our hopeful case, “If you can dream it, it will come true.” lol. [I love how I just gave my dream the responsibility that should be mine.
Then again, they do say "Don't chase your dreams, let your dreams chase you." A perfect scenario for lazy me. :D]
BTW, chi My’s favorite ’slogan’ was “Let no one extinguish your dreams”. The similarities are just endless.
