“WDLC” Filming Wrapped Up with Dinner (10/20/2007)

Gallen was spotted shooting his last scene on the street of Lan Kwai Fong, Central HK two nights ago (10/20/2007). Explaining why he looked rather exhausted, Gallen said since his character was suffering from recurring cancer, that was how he should appear. When being requested for a photo, Gallen humorously sported the V-signs.

Last night (10/21/2007), the cast and crew were invited to dinner. As filming was now wrapped up, Gallen could happily leave his Kowloon hotel room and go home to his wife and son in Discovery Bay. He will spend some time with family before heading to Beijing for his new drama, The Perfect Ending (完 美 结 局, tentative title).

Gallen Lo and Myolie Wu - From Sweet to Sour?

Consolidated from various sources, including Apple Daily, Sing Tao, Sohu, and Sina 10/05-10/2007. Image courtesy of Sohu, Sing Tao and Sina

Shortly after being spotted on the street of Central (HK) last night (10/9/2007), this morning the pair publicly displayed their heated argument before hundreds of curious onlookers at Causeway Bay.

Approximately 200 onlookers or so stopped to take picture and to discuss what they saw. The noise level, fortunately, was consciously kept low enough so as not to interfere with… the microphones of When Dogs Love Cats‘ filming crew.

Gallen and Myolie didn’t seem to be distracted at all by the crowd. Neither did they worry about any rumor when caught holding hands sweetly the night before. The weather was terribly hot even at night, so Gallen used his break to go get cold drinks from a convenient store nearby and treated the crew.

His character kissed a puppy in despair. He was dying from cancer…

If everything goes accordingly, in November Gallen will head to Beijing for his new filming project which will last until Lunar New Year. He does hope to be able to return and celebrate Lunar New Year with his family.

Gallen’s Personal Sina Blog - Now Active (10/01/2007)

This is not a news article, so please do not repost elsewhere. Thank you.

:::

Someone who “isn’t into computers and games” and prefers “not to use SMS and emails” now disregards his personal preference just to “comply” with his fans’ wishes.

Yes, Gallen’s finally activated his blog today with an ultra short, cozy, personal, long-awaited entry completed with photo and scanned handwritten note.

As much as I understand how busy Gallen is and how blogging might never be named one of his hobbies, I couldn’t help but selfishly hope this is only the beginning of many nice entries to come. After all, Gallen is known for his persistence. He wouldn’t have been the Gallen we know (and love) today if he gave up singing, gave up acting, or even… had a change of heart. Let us see. I’m particularly anticipating the first glimpse into his calligraphy and painting works which he once promised to share with all of us, but a tiny “Hello” entry would make my day just as splendidly.

Gallen, thanks!
