[Hangzhou] The soap opera “Wolf Scent” last night have been able to finished its final three scenes quite smoothly before the heavy rain set in. Director Su Zhou had expressed his concern about the weather, but had also ordered for filming to be carried out rain or shine.
Gallen Lo Ka Leung remained working with the crew until the last minute in good spirit. When I [Li Yang] asked him whether he was tired, Gallen said since he was especially happy with this project, he was not feeling very exhausted. The positive work result save me [Li] the trouble of coming to the filming location, and so I offered my congratulations to the team on their smooth closing over the phone.
Gallen, upon arriving back at Hong Kong this afternoon [02/14/2007], has phoned to thank me for my support. However I have to say the biggest crop I’ve “harvested” from the filming of WS must be my understanding about Gallen and his loyal fans. Gallen was professional. He was skilled. And he allowed me to learn about Hong Kong entertainers’ artistic ethics as well as their moral behavior. I sincerely appreciated their professionalism and modesty.
I believe all his fans and friends now have the same feeling I do. Together we are anticipating WS to be a great drama, and wishing Gallen to further success in his career development plan in Mainland. He and I have also agreed today that since we have had such great cooperation, I’ll look out for suitable script (so that) I could invite him back in the future.
I have taken the liberty to represent all of you in wishing Gallen a happy Spring Festival. Hope he will have sufficient time to rest. The next filming project will begin in April.
