After a month of planning, VGFC brought the idea to life: A scholarship fund to honor Gallen Lo Ka Leung. VGFC members name the fund Courage Gallen Lo with hope to pass on the courage which has driven their beloved star through obstacles and to where he is today.
VGFC and Courage GL has selected 30 of the brightest children from S.o.S Govap, Ho Chi Minh City to be the fund’s first 30 recipients.
The scholarships were awarded on the 24th of July, 2005.
It brought smiles onto the children’s faces, but it brought something bigger for the VGFC members - a sense of self-fulfillment.
